Greatheart's COVID-19 Letter

“We don’t develop courage by being happy every day. We develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity.”

– Barbara De Angelis

We face unprecedented times right now in our nation and world. In one way or another, we all have been impacted by COVID-19. While the overall outcome is yet to be seen, Greatheart Consulting is bracing itself and continuing to deliver excellent service and solutions for our clients. Always, but now more than ever, we are keeping clients like you in our thoughts, as we all navigate the challenging road ahead, professionally and personally.

It’s in these times that we are making the choice to lean even deeper into Greatheart’s core values of focused courage, intentional presence, and creative complexity. We believe that adversity presents a unique opportunity for us to become even more inclusive. This period of social distancing is allowing us to put a challenging aspect of inclusion into realtime practice, working remotely.

We believe that adversity presents a unique opportunity for us to become even more inclusive.

Humans are made for connection and belonging, so there are real risks to each one of us around isolation during the coming weeks.

Here at Greatheart, like many other companies around the world, we have adopted a policy of working remotely for the next few months. It is remarkable that so many of us, in this digital age, can do much of our work virtually. We understand that many in-person events and meetings are being (and need to be) postponed, to decrease the spread of COVID-19. This means that now more than ever, we must find new ways to ensure that the momentum of inclusion carries us together.

Uncertainty and fear tend to bring out the worst in people, and we need dedicated inclusive leaders to step up and guide us during this perplexing moment in our history. As a company, we are committed to supporting you as an inclusive leader. We are pivoting to conduct our workshops, coaching and consulting work as virtually as possible. Fortunately, for many of us in this global economy, the virtual space is nothing new; therefore, we are confident that we can continue to do our work effectively, virtually.

We need dedicated inclusive leaders to step up and guide us during this perplexing moment in our history.

We wanted to let you know how we are adapting to the social landscape; one we hope will get back to normal much sooner than later. In the meantime, we adjust and continue the mission of developing inclusive leaders for competitive and collaborative advantage. We at Greatheart are grateful and honored to continue this journey of inclusion with you. We hope that, as we collaborate more virtually,  we will continue to move the work of inclusion forward, together.
